Malaysia Airlines History

Malaysian Airlines was incorporated on October 12, 1937. The airline took its first commercial flight from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur on April 2, 1947. Within three months of its inaugural flight, Malaysian Airlines began its International flights to Jakarta, Palembang and Saigon.
Malaysia Airlines Fleet

The Malaysian Airlines fleet consists of Airbus A330-200s, A330-300s, A380-800s and Boeing 373-400s, 737-800s, 747-400 and 777-200ER. The aircrafts are equipped with both two-cabin and three-cabin configurations with Economy and Gold Club Class and First Class. The average age of the Malaysian Airlines fleet is 10 years.
Malaysia Airlines Operations

Malaysia Airlines operates scheduled flights to over 100 destinations in 35 countries worldwide. These include Cape Town, Johannesburg, Beijing, Shanghai, Osaka, Tokyo, Seoul, Manila, Singapore, Bangkok and Phuket, Dubai, Los Angeles, Brisbane, Melbourne and Karachi. In India, Malaysian Airlines flies to Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai.
