Tyre burst of cargo aircraft delays flights

Cargo aircraft delays 

CHENNAI: The tyre of a cargo aircraft burst while landing at the main runway at the Chennai airport on Wednesday morning. However, the aircraft managed to vacate the runway and moved to the taxi track.
According to airport sources, the aircraft belonging to Blue Dart landed around 8.20 a.m. While landing one of the tyres on the main under carriage burst.
            The aircraft was then towed to the parking stand at the old airport.
Following this, departure of the Sharjah-bound Air Arabia flight was delayed by about half-an-hour. Similarly, an Indigo flight from Kolkata, which was about to land at the Chennai airport was asked to go around. It landed after a delay of half-an-hour.
