Mumbai: Betting on the fact that entertainment while on a flight is the need of the hour, coupled with the fact that low cost carriers business model do not permit personalized entertainment systems, IP Avenue, a Mumbai based technology company has launched MINT POD – My Interactive Nano TV.
Mint Pod is a 5.3′ inch interactive screen offering passengers a variety of pre loaded content from blockbuster movies to fashion shows, cartoons, travel shows and more … to cater to men, women and children.
The Mint Pod, has over 30 hours of content to keep passengers entertained and occupied on long tiring journeys. The interactive Mint allows one to easily browse between channels and even fast forward pause and rewind.
IP Avenue has tied up exclusively with EROS Entertainment to provide latest Bollywood movies, laughter shows etc.
Today Mint Pod is conveniently available on board across all flights of Go Air and one can rent them for a nominal fee. Soon IP Avenue would be launching Mint Pod with other Indian Low Cost Carriers as well as a few International carriers as well.
On the technology front the Mint Pod’s content is encrypted, aviation copyrighted, with the ability to listen only with help of headphones thereby not disturbing fellow passengers.
