The news of this latest travel related firm that has stopped business and caused problems to UK business and holiday makers alike follows in the footsteps of the Greece and Turkey destination holiday firm Goldtrail that collapsed last month and the even more recent end of trading by Sun4U last week.
Estimates were made that 50,000 travellers were affected by the collapse of Goldtrail while Sun4U left approximately 1,500 people stranded abroad with the majority being in Spain.
Speculation about problems started when the website for Kiss Flights was unavailable and merely showed a message that the site was “down for maintenance” however it was later confirmed that the company that owned Kiss Flights, Flight Options, had officially ceased to trade in business as from Tuesday at 5pm.
The UK travel industry has seen many problems happening to all sections of the business and was especially affected by the volcanic ash cloud incidents that happened earlier this year.
