About Oman Air

Oman Air is the flagship carrier of the Sultan of Oman. The airline operates scheduled domestic and international flights as well as local air taxi and charter services. Oman Air's hub is located at Seeb International Airport, Muscat. It flies to more than 17 destinations around the world and is a member of the Arab Carriers Organization. The Oman Government holds 33.8% stake of Oman Air. As a full-fledged commercial airline, Oman Air has grown rapidly in the last 14 years and has constantly strived to maintain high performance standards in its operations arena.
Oman Air History

Oman International Services was established in 1970 and Oman Aviation Services was founded in 1981 to extent its services to other airlines in terms of cargo and ground handling. Air started its operations in 1993 as a regional player and has grown rapidly in the past 14 years to be a major player in the Middle East providing commercial, industrial and tourism activities.
Oman Air Fleet

Oman Air has a young fleet consisting of modern and fuel efficient aircrafts with elegantly designed interiors- B737-900, B737-700, A310-300 and ATR42-500s. Oman Air is also the first airline to have introduced the new Boeing NG 737 series.
Oman Air Operations

Oman Air currently flies to 27 destinations including 10 international destinations in the Middle East like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, Bahrain, Kuwait, Doha, Amman and Cairo. In India, the airline flies to New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Calcutta, Bangalore, Lucknow, Jaipur and Trivandrum. It also has scheduled flights to Karachi, Chittagong, London, Bangkok and internal flights to Salalah and Khasab.
