Aeroflot Russian Airlines

Aeroflot Russian Airlines more popularly known as Aeroflot is Russia's national carrier and the country's largest airline based on passengers. Aeroflot is one of the world's oldest airlines and is headquartered in Moscow. The airline's hub for passenger operations is at Sheremetyevo International Airport in Moscow, where Aeroflot operates its domestic and international services to over 90 cities within 48 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, and North America. Aeroflot's fleet is one of Europe's youngest and consists of 90 aircraft including the new Airbus.

The airline offers two travel class configurations; these are Business class and Economy class. Passengers who are travelling Business class on Airbus A319s, A320s and A321 crafts will enjoy ergonomic seats that feature built in power points while on Boeing 767 Business class features seats that transformed into beds (not lie-flat). Business class passengers will also receive ear-plugs, slippers, and eye masks to help add some more comfort during the flight, while economy class passengers will receive towels and eye masks as a part of their comfort package. All passengers will also receive in-flight entertainment.

Aeroflot's frequent flyer program is the three tier programme called Aeroflot Bonus. Aeroflot Bonus' membership levels are regular, silver and gold and some benefits that the programme offers its members are preferred seating, priority check-in, priority wait listing and lounge access where passengers can relax, freshen up and work.

The airline has an extensive international network and is a member of the SkyTeam marketing and code-sharing alliance, which includes other carriers such as Adria Airways, Air Europa, Delta Air Lines, Air France and KLM. Aeroflot's subsidiaries include Donavia, Nordavia, Aeroflot-Plus and Aeroflot-Cargo. Together with its alliance members and subsidiaries Aeroflot operates flights from India (Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi) to New York (JFK), Moscow, Bangkok, Barcelona, Beirut, Kiev, Krasnodar, Los Angeles, and Milan. The airline also receives competition from competitors such as British Airways, Lufthansa and JSC S7 Airlines.
